Managing Alumni Connections

As individuals walk through the coaching process, many will be connected to your organization by a mix of the matching tool and the guidance of the coach.  When this connection happens, each individual will be displayed in the first step of your Pipeline along with other notifications.  Here are tools on how best to steward and manage these new connections.  


What the Platform is Doing

The ServiceReef platform is working to match and automate the following:

  • Matching Report

    • Coach Matches - based on assessment questions (for the organizations and the individuals)

    • Organization Matching - based on assessment questions (for the organizations and the individuals)

    • Opportunity Matching - based on the opportunity specifications and individual profile settings (NOTE: opportunity matching is dynamic to the specific opportunity and is not based on the assessment questions).  

  • Notifications

    • Individuals 

      • Coach Request accepted - When a coach they have requested to be matched with accepts their request
      • Coach Request declined - When a coach they have requested to be matched with declines their request
      • NOTE: An email is NOT sent with the Matching Report.  The individual can view their custom Matching Report on the website once they complete the assessment and/or view from their account menu in Missional.Life.

    • Organizations

      • Welcome Email - ServiceReef welcome email for new organizations

      • Organization Connection - notification when a coach connects someone to their organization

    • Coaches

      • Coach invitation - invitation email sent from organization to become a coach

      • Coach Request - notification when someone requests a specific coach for connection and coaching

    • Other

      • Church Invitation - Email to church when added by alumni in Missional.Life sign up wizard

      • Sending Agency Invitation - Email to sending agency when added by alumni in Missional.Life sign up wizard

Common Coach Management Items

  • Adding a Coach - Adding a new coach can be done by searching for their name or adding a new coach (for those who do not already have a ServiceReef profile).

  • View Coach Profile - View more information on each of the coaches (contact, etc.)

  • Change Coach Status - Change status between available to unavailable

  • Resend Invite - Resend invite email if needed

  • Delete Coach - Remove coach from your list of coaches
