How can I add a participant AFTER the deadline has passed?

Did someone miss the signup deadline? You are able to add participants to an Opportunity even after the deadline has passed!


*NOTE* In order to be able to add a participant to any Opportunity, there must be spots available in the Opportunity. Ensure that the number of participants allowed on the trip will not exceed the number you are attempting to add. 


First, go to your Opportunity and select "Participants" on the left side under Team.

Next, click "Add Participant".


As long as the user already has a ServiceReef account, you will fund them by clicking the dropdown arrow under "User" or by typing in their name. If the participant does not have a ServiceReef account, ask that the participant create an account so that you are able to add them to the Opportunity after the deadline has passed. Another option would be to Import Participants if you have many individuals that need to be added (or if you have multiple participants who do not have accounts already created). 


Choose the "Status" of the User (Approved - if participant is approved and does not need to go through the application or pay an application fee; Awaiting Approval - if participant will need to complete the application and pay the application fee if there is one). 


*If the participant does need to go through the application process, select "Awaiting Approval" and then change their status to "Draft" so that the participant will be able to access the application on their dashboard.
