Secure Trips / Trip Leader information
- Question/Topic: Hiding Team leader info... Is this possible? Is it possible to list profile pages with a first name, last initial? What would work for limited access countries?
- Answer: Hiding team leader information isn't possible on non-secure trips, nor from the profiles that display. Many organizations will start with a trip as "Secure" or "Private", which restricts any information from being seen on that trip until the person is approved for the trip. Although you can read more here, I think that would be overkill for what you are trying to accomplish.
- Instead... I would recommend looking at the General tab for the trips. The "Trip Leader" that is displayed is actually the "Primary Contact" person for the trip. You can change the name/email address here if there is a more generic route as was done with the Carribean trip (shortening the last name to "R" and removing the email address). In that example, if there was a general "Student Trips" email address, you can put that there for all trips, thereby routing questions from applicants to a centralized place without exposing the email address.
