At the Organization Level and within each Opportunity, you have the ability to add Manual Payments or Import Donations. This helps if you are collecting donations via check, cash or if you need to add a manual credit card payment also.
Go to Financial > Donations & Payments (again, this can be at the Organization Level or the Opportunity Level).
Click the blue actions button and select either Import Donations (if you are needing to upload many donations) or Add Manual Payment (if you want to add one or two donations).
If you've selected Add Manual Payment, you will type in the Payment/Donation information and save the data. You will decide where the donation is going to go (the General Fund for the Opportunity - if enabled, or to a specific individual). You will also have the option to add Donor information or to leave this area blank.
