Donations can be viewed within two different arenas. First, Org Admins can view all donations across all trips (i.e. anything coming into the system). Second, Trip Admins and Participants can view all donations that are pertaining to a trip they have permission to view. Obviously, in the case of participants, they would only view the donations that are directly tied to their trip/account.
Given that donations can be viewed for different purposes, this article will quickly summarize the three ways that donations can be viewed, starting with Org Admins.
Organization Level
To view all donations across all trips, the fastest way to access this data is to navigate to Mission Control and click on the "View All Donations" link under the Financial tab. From the next page, you can search by transaction date, filter by a date range, or type of transaction. Once filtered, you are able to export those donations as well.
Trip Level
To view donations within a particular trip, first navigate to the opportunity for which you need donation information. Then, on the left hand navigation, click on Financial > Donations & Payments. This will provide you the ability to see all donations associated to this opportunity, filter by donation type or designation, export the transaction data (using the "Actions" button on the top right), etc. Is should look like the following screenshot:
Participant Level
If you click on a participant's name, or navigate to your participant list and click on Actions > View Donations & Payments. From there, you can see a participant donation information, similar to the screenshot below:
Excel Report (Export)
Payment If you run a report, it will show as an Excel Document. Online donations/Payments are in the first tab, manually entered donations/Payments are in the second tab. From there, you can see a participant donation information, similar to the screenshot below:
