As a participant, there are different ways that funds are applied towards your balance. One way funds are applied towards your balance due is through donations that may be coming in from donors. Another way is by making a payment on your Dashboard or through a Task that is assigned to you. Let's explore the steps to accomplish making a payment!
To make a payment through a Task assigned under the Upcoming Opportunity, you will navigate to your Dashboard and select Upcoming Opportunities. On the right side, you will then see a Task for a Payment (Below, it says "Half of Payment Due".
After clicking on this link, you will be taken to Make a Payment:
At checkout, you will enter your payment information and Submit your payment.
If the Task requires a specific amount, this will automatically be calculated for you.
If you do not have a Task assigned to make a payment, you can do that by navigating to your Opportunity Dashboard.
To do this, navigate to your Dashboard and click on the Opportunity you wish to make a payment towards.
You will see the details of your Upcoming Opportunity (notice you can get to your Tasks here also by scrolling down). You can Make a Payment by selecting the button on the upper right in green.
