Incomplete Application...Now What?

What does it mean to have an incomplete application? Essentially, the participant did not complete the application - this could be one question or many. Not to worry, people often begin an application and come back to it at various points in their journey. As a participant, you can go back into the application and complete it from where you have left off.

As a Participant: To do this, you will want to login to your ServiceReef account and go to Dashboard. Here, you will see the Opportunity that you have begun your application for. Simply click on the Opportunity Name and it will take you back to your existing application.

As an administrator: You have a couple options.

Admins often wonder if they can go in and complete an application for a participant...the answer to this is no. We believe that it is best for the participant to answer the questions in their application themselves. Often times, questions regarding health or spiritual life are asked - the participant has the best answers for these questions.

As an admin, you have the ability to email the participant. In the blue "Actions" button next to your participant, select "Send Email". This will open up your default mail program with their email pre-populated where you can request ask the participant to complete the form and/or if they just lost track of time, etc.- If this does not open your default mail program (likely due to a pop-up blocker), you can find the participant's email address by clicking on their member card.

Additionally, in the Communications Menu on that Opportunity, there is an option to "Schedule a Message".

Once you have clicked "Schedule a Message" you can craft a message to the audience who has not completed their application (this is helpful if you have multiple participants with incomplete applications).
