For international Opportunities, having a current passport is important, especially since certain countries require travelers’ passports to be valid for a certain number of months after the last date of travel.
In ServiceReef, users are responsible for notating in their User Profile if they have a passport, and what the expiration date is:
1. Passport Expiration Date in Member Modal
The users’ passport expiration date (if they have a passport), is now shown in the Member Modal:
This will allow Org Admins to be able to identify users’ passport expiration dates, and enable them to initiate conversations with those users who may need to renew their passports.
This feature will:
Show a user’s passport expiration status in the admin Member Modal
Run a daily process that will check all users and send a notification email if:
a user’s passport expires 6 months, 9 months, or 12 months from today
a user’s passport is already expired
2. Passport Expiration Notification Emails
If a user’s passport expires 6 months, 9 months, or 12 months from now, or is currently expired, a daily background process will send the user an email letting them know their passport’s expiration date, how far from today it expires, and a link to their user profile where they can update the expiration date (after they have renewed their passport):
